Futsal Notice from USOF

The United States Olympic Futsal (USOF) promotion committee announces their support and coordination of the Cox Communications of New England cable television taping of the regular season games of the Catholic Youth Futsal League this past Saturday 03/13/2004. Wilian Sampaio and Julio Cesar Franco were on hand to help promote the "We Want Olympic Futsal" campaign.

United States Olympic Futsal has been established as a not-for-profit entity with its base of operation in Massachusetts and has as its mission to help promote the sport of Futsal by, in part, underwriting youth league development within the United States, coordinating proper coaching, refereeing and player instructions, and to assist in the world-wide efforts already well underway by, and in concert with, the FEDERAÇÃO PAULISTA to promote the sport of Futsal as an officially recognized Olympic event.

The Catholic Youth Futsal League announced that their session 1 "Olympic" Playoffs are scheduled for April 3, 2004. In addition to this Olympic style event, the Catholic Diocesan Grade School Teachers and Faculties will participate in the First-Ever Teacher's Cup Challenge. Olympic medals will be awarded to all participants and a pizza party and dance will follow. The USOF is proud to be a sponsor of this great event
