International friendly match

Japanese Futsal
Easy victory to Japan by 9 - 1 in front of 500 spectators at the Dural Sport & Leisure Centre in the first friendly match scheduled in Dural (Australia). The second one will be played tomorrow evening at 20:00 (20/03/2004). There will not a third match as announced in a previous news ( http://www.futsalplanet.com/news/news-01.asp?id=2693)
Japan was very enterprising in attack with excellent one-touch passing and good mobility, quite solid in defence and held out sporadic Australian attacks Australia struggled with the speed of Japan's ball movement while it rareley threatened a solid Japanese defensive set up.

The Japanese team is using the matches as part of their preparation for the 6th AFC Futsal Championship to be staged in Macau from April 16-25.
This tournament will serve as the Asian qualifiers for the World
Championship with the top three teams progressing.
