CANADA TO STAGE TRAINING CAMP NEXT MONTH

Canada's Futsal Technical Director Ross Ongaro will stage a training camp from 2-3 April at York University in Toronto, Ontario in order to bolster the Futsal Team's player pool.

Canada is scheduled to meet Panama in a two-game North/Central Preliminary Series (to be completed by 31 May 2004), while the other series have Mexico hosting El Salvador in two-matches and Honduras visiting the USA for a pair of encounters in late May.


The three North/Central Preliminary Series Winners will join three representatives from the Caribbean Football Union Tournament in Trinidad & Tobago (18-23 April), along with Cuba, and the host, Costa Rica in the eight-team CONCACAF Final Round in July that will qualify two nations to the 2004 FIFA Futsal World Championship to be held in Chinese Taipei from 22 November - 12 December.
