24/3/2004 The United States Olympic Futsal (USOF) is the primary sponsor of a Level F Futsal Coaching Course being offered to league participants of the Catholic Youth Futsal League in Massachusetts, USA that is being offered in conjunction with the South Coast Angels - FC. This is an interactive FUTSAL COURSE. It is being offered this coming Sunday 3/28/2004 at St. Stanislaus School & Parish Center, 37 Rockland Street, Fall River, MA from 1 PM to 3 PM. The course outline is as follows.

1.HISTORY OF FUTSAL- BRAZIL OR URUGUAY

a. Early concepts
b. Evolution
c. " WHY" Futsal

2.Introduction to the FUNDAMENTALS OF FUTSAL

a. Passing
b. Receiving
c. Carrying
d. Dribbling
e. Shooting

3. Introduction to SYSTEMS OF PLAY

a. 2-2
b. 3-1 - Static
c. 3-1 - Rotational

4. Participants will be encouraged to participate in both class and court demonstration.


5. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion.

UPON COMPLETIION OF THIS LEVEL F COURSE, COACHES WILL BE ABLE TO:

. Have a working knowledge of Futsal, it's rules and play.
. Be able to introduce beginning players to the basics of Futsal.
. Generate ideas to create their own practice sessions
. Develop a sense of awareness of their responsibility as coaches.

United States Olympic Futsal has been established as a not-for-profit entity with it's base of operation in Massachusetts, USA and has as its mission to help promote the sport of Futsal by, in part, underwriting youth league development within the United States, coordinating proper coaching, refereeing and player instructions, and to assist in the world-wide efforts already well underway by, and in concert with, the FEDERAÇÃO PAULISTA to promote the sport of Futsal as an officially recognized Olympic event.

The USOF is actively seeking individual and corporate sponsorships, grants, or equipment and supply donations from major futsal equipment suppliers and manufacturers that can be in turn donated to help with the start up of bonafide youth futsal leagues throughout the United States
