Great news from Peruvian futsal! Since the middle of march started the construction of the new wonderful house of Peruvian futsal. The Coliseo de Futsal should be ready for June. The Complejo Deportivo de Futsal will be realized thanks to the work of the Futsal Committe of Perù that found the financial resources to build it.

Other important news coming from Perù: in the middle of May will begin the second Campeonato Metropolitano de Futsal (2004). As happened in the past season, when was organized the first "Metropolitano", there will be two division, both part of the Limayor (Liga Mayor de Futsal, created on 22/5/2003): Division Superior and Division de Ascenso, respectively composed of 8 and 10 teams.
In the first Campeonato Metropolitano the Peruvian national champion title went to Club Deportivo Kansas, while Club La Sonora reached the second place. Both clubs will take part in the next Merconorte Cup (Conmebol Futsal Championship, North Group) to be played in Quito, Ecuador, in July, 10-15.
Division de Ascenso was won by Club Alianza San Juan, while the second place went to Club Deportivo Magdalena.
