I would like to openly extend my warmest thanks for FIFA’s interest and support for Futsal through Mr. Victor Beceiro, specifically for our local efforts in the Philippines. I especially remember Victor helping our Futsal Program by giving fatherly development advice through a meeting we had in Thailand during the Thai 5’s last year, regular email correspondences, sending Technical Training Manuals to our country, and coordinating with FIFA Futsal Representative to A.F.C. João Rocha, for a Total Asian Effort for the Sport’s growth.

Mr. Beceiro’s presence in FIFA House will be missed by us, as his contribution to our beginnings in the Futsal Committee of the Philippine Football Federation was great. I wish him all the best in his next chosen challenge and endeavor. Allow me to take this opportunity to again, to thank FIFA for the Futsal work and that we in the Philippines look forward to more fruitful partnerships and cooperative efforts for Futsal.
