Europe's élite await draw

The draw date has been set for the 2004/05 UEFA Futsal Cup, with more entrants than ever before expected.

Early start

With the final of this year's edition looming over two legs on 24 April and 1 May, UEFA has already begun preparations for the fourth staging of the UEFA Futsal Cup. The draw will take place at 14.00CET on 8 July 2004 at UEFA headquarters in Nyon.

Spanish success

This season's tournament involved 33 teams from 32 nations, with Spain having two places because reigning European champions Playas de Castellón FS were joined by domestic title-holders Interviú Boomerang FS. Boomerang now have the chance to take Castellón's crown when they meet SL Benfica of Portugal in the 2003/04 final.
