The African Futsal Championship will be held in Cairo, Egypt from 15-22 June 2004. The competition will also determine Africa's flag bearer in the World Futsal Championship to be held in Chinese Taipei from 22 November to 12 December 2004.

The eight finalists for the competition in Cairo are divided into two groups.
