A futsal course about the rules of the International federation of Association Football (FIFA) began today, at the amphitheatre of the organ in charge of the "king sport" in Angola (FAF).
The course, for training trainers, coaches and referees of indoor soccer, is being taught by three Portuguese trainers, namely
José dos Santos, who will teach goal keeping techniques,
José Alberto Rosa, techniques and tactics, and
Alfredo Basilio, who will speak about refereeing.
The course which ends on Thursday will be for the
adaptation to FIFA rules, in ambit of the insertion of futsal under the charge of the sport's International Federation (FIFUSA), in (FIFA).The president of the Management Commission of the Angolan Futsal Federation (FAFUSA),
Ílidio Cândido, told ANGOP that the changing of FIFUSA's rules to FIFA, is due to the need of inserting a new dynamics in the sport.
He stated that FIFUSA's rules are out of date and it will be better to adapt to FIFA's regulations, mainly due to the support which the institution normally gives to its members.
He explained that by adapting to FIFA rules, there will be various benefits in the light of training of trainers and also in African, regional and world competitions.
