La selección de futsal de Canadá remontó el marcador en la segunda mitad del partido, aguándole la fiesta al equipo de Panamá, en el primer juego de la eliminatoria de esta modalidad.

El juego, celebrado anoche en el gimnasio Roberto Mano de Piedra Durán, terminó a favor de los canadienses 5 por 4, quienes fueron sorprendidos en la primera parte por el conjunto local.

La fanaticada que asistió al partido estuvo bien entusiasmada al comienzo del partido, cuando los panameños lograron anotar cuatro goles.

Sin embargo, Canadá fue muy paciente y calculador en el juego, logrando remontar poco a poco el marcador. El juego, por el ataque efectivo de Panamá en la primera mitad, fue muy intenso.

Panamá abrió el marcador por medio de Enrique Valdés, aunque sus rivales ripostaron rápido, logrando un gol Guiliano Oliviero.

Nuevamente Valdés se hizo sentir en el marcador, dejando la pizarra 2-1.

Los otros goles panameños fueron por parte de Gilberto Rangel, en tiro libre, y Moises Williamson, en jugada individual.
