01/06/2004 The Mexican "Liga Metropolitana" is started
The Mexican futsal league (Liga Metropolitana - Apertura 2004) started in the middle of May. Until now were played the first two rounds. Nine teams will try to win the title conquered by UNAM in the Clausura 2003 tournament. In the past week end was played the third round, while in the current week will be played the fourth round. After two rounds, even if some matches have been postponed, the top scorer of the league is Luis Duarte (IPN) with three goals.
