2004 CONCACAF FUTSAL QUALIFYING

FIELD SET FOR 2004 CONCACAF FINAL ROUND QUALIFICATION

The field is set after the conclusion of the 2004 CONCACAF Futsal Final Round Qualification draw on Tuesday, at the offices of the CONCACAF General Secretariat in New York City. The draw was presided over by CONCACAF Deputy General Secretary Ted Howard. COMPLETE STORY

The host and defending champion, Costa Rica has been placed in Group A along with Mexico, Surinam and Trinidad & Tobago, while Cuba, which has qualified to the last two FIFA Futsal World Championships, is in Group B with Guyana, Panama and the USA. COMPLETE SCHEDULE

The eight-team CONCACAF Final Round will run from 23-31 July at the Palacio de los Deportes in Herédia, Costa Rica and will qualify two nations to the 2004 FIFA Futsal World Championship, to be held in Chinese Taipei from 21 November - 5 December.
