Futsal England
Norris Villa victorious in Manchester

A competitive league with plenty of promise for the future, produced worthy winners by the name of Norris Villa. General high levels of team fitness and a desire to win were the key elements to their success. Whilst once again new to the game of futsal with all its nuances, a team with good skill has been able to adapt sufficiently to rise to the top of their region.

Norris Villa showed grit and dogged determination to ensure each match resulted in victory. It was not all plain sailing, however, and they had to endure considerable pressure right down to the final few league matches.

Praise must also be given to the officiating staff whom have been introduced to the game through seminars conducted by Futsal England and achieved a consistently high quality refereeing, in what is a new game to them also.

‘Consistency and knowledge are the key to good refereeing ….and this in turn manifests itself in a good futsal match as players are able to play freely … confident with the officials..’

Congratulations to Norris Villa…..worthy winners.
