Two friendly matches were played on June 9th and 10th in Nicosia (Cyprus) between the National teams of Cyprus and Hungary. The Mihály Kozma's team managed to win both matches.
One week before the Hungarian National team Under 21 lost two friendly matches in Odorheiu Secuiesc against a Romanian selection (it was not properly the Romanian National team).
The results were:

Cyprus-Hungary double friendly games

Hungary was the winner of both the two friendly games given against Cyprus last week in Cyprus. The first game which took place on Wednesday 9/6/2004 finished with the Hungarians winning 5-3 and the second game which took place on the next day finished again with a Hungarian win 4-2.

Despite the two losses the Cyprus team has shown a great deal of improvement and definitely under the guidance of the national coach Mr. Athos Stylianou the team will be able to compete against Europe’s best teams in the near future.
