As was quite predictable the Argentinian second defeat in the fourth day of the tournament was decisive for the Larrañaga's boys. In the last day of Group A both Paraguay and Venezuela won their matches against Ecuador and Colombia reaching the semifinal. First place went to Venezuela due to a better goal difference, so that today the Álvaro Guevara Español's team will face Uruguay, while Brazil will have to defeat Paraguay to reach the final.
