"Luis Amado" Tarodo, Boomerang Interviu and Spanish national team's goalkeeper, was awarded last monday in Madrid, receiving the
Futsalplanet Award as the
best goalkeeper in the world of futsal, during the year 2003.
The
Futsalplanet Awards were announced at the end of January 2004, when a large jury of futsal experts, composed of 174 persons voting from 49 countries, voted for the best player, team, goalkeeper and coach of the world.
Luis Amado reached the first place with
286 points. The second place went to the European Champion (Caserta/Aversa 2003)
Gianfranco Angelini (Lamaro Roma Rcb) with the final score of
254 points while the third place went to another spanish goalkeeper:
"Sergio" López-Andujar Alonso (El Pozo Murcia and Spanish national team's goalkeeper) with
103 points.
In the next week we will award the Spanish National team coach,
Javier Lozano, voted as the best coach of the world.
