Even though many futsal media announced the next edition of the Recopa Cup as ready to be played in Lisbon (Portugal), things seems to be different. The Portuguese web portal Futsal Portugal
talked with the SL Olivais' vice-president Pedro Miguel Fernandes who denied this chance.

"SL Olivais was contacted by the LNFS president Santiago Marquez in order to evaluate this opportunity, but we had to renounce due to the lack of financial sponsor in the organization" said Fernandes.

According to what Fernandes said there is the chance that the Russian Cup winner (Dinamo Moscow) can organize the event, even if Dinamo Moscow must play also in the UEFA Futsal Cup.
