1. State League Grand Final

The Quake Men's team only have one hurdle left to overcome to become the NSW Futsal State League champions. Homebush are standing the way and at Dural Leisure Centre at 9pm on Saturday night, Campbelltown City will set out to inflict it's third consecutive State League defeat upon Flavio De Silva Moiera and his men. We spoke to Glenn Lockhart, coach of the men's team, after training on Tuesday night to find out how the Quake will do it :

2. Hyundai 5's

The day after the State League Grand Finals, Campbelltown City Quake's six man men's team will take on 11 other teams in the local section of the Hyundai 5's. Scott Gilligan will take Ben Singleton, Scott Kidson, Simon Keith, Lester Lobo, Jeremy Callaghan and Adam MacNaughton to Valentine Park on Sunday. The ultimate prize is a trip to the World Cup where the Asia/Pacific winner will take part in the 12 team international finals. Read all about the results from Queensland's local section at:

3. New Competitions

With the recent turmoil over venues for the upcoming seasons almost over, The Quake will be looking to start up competition again in the week starting the 18th March, 2002. All ages will be sought after for competitions at Alive Sports with matches at Centennial Stadium beginning as soon as court space can be confirmed.

There is nothing like a guaranteed outdoor training night during these unpredictable autumn and winter months. There is no better way to improve your outdoor than through 5-a-side. Competition fees will be $70 per player for juniors and $100 per player for seniors. This is a one-time payment that covers all fees for the season.

4. Web Developments

Regular visitors to www.quakefutsal.com.au may have noticed some small changes taking place recently. Quake Futsal On-line is slowly getting more content after the major facelift in September '01. The whole presentation of the site is aimed at helping the club to add another aspect of value for potential sponsors for the 2002/03 season.

It is also hoped that the changes also give the club a better public "face" and can help our members to keep up with all of the latest news, events and information. Comments and feedback are a vital part of this process but there seems to be very little feedback coming via e-mail. feedback@quakefutsal.com.au is the place to send all of your comments. The best improvement idea in March will receive a Quake T-shirt.

5. Rumours

Quake T-shirts, hats and bags on sale soon.

Oceania Futsal Cup to be held in Australia in mid to late 2002.

Keep watching www.quakefutsal.com.au for more information as it comes to hand.
