Not many news in the Liga Futsal 2004. As happened in the past season, the final for the title will be played between two teams from the "Gaucha" federation: Carlos Barbosa and Ulbra. The only difference is that in the current season Carlos Barbosa had a better standing in the previous stages, so that the Paulo Mussalem's team will have the chance to play the eventual third match in Carlos Barbosa.

The competition system for semifinals and finals is based on two matches for each pairings, the third match will be played only in casa of two draws or a victory for each team.
