LNFS is working hard to organize the next edition of the Recopa Cup. After the first edition played in the last season in Murcia ( Click here to see all details!), the intention is to play in another country the second tournament. The first idea was about Portugal, but SL Olivais, Portuguese Cup Winner, renounced to the organization, as we reported some days ago (read here!). Another chance is to organize the event in Russia, where the club Viz Sinara Ekaterinburg will be involved as Cup Runner Up, considering that Dinamo Moscow, Cup winner, must play in the UEFA Futsal Cup. In this case, the period of the competition could change. LNFS would like to organize the 2nd Recopa Cup in October (since 4th to 10th October).
The last chance, according to our informations, is in Croatia, where the Cup Winner Orkan Valten Krizevci could be interested in organizing the event. If it won't be possible organizing the competition out of Spain, Playas De Castellon should be the host.

The teams involved, even if nothing is still official, negotiations are in course, should be:

Playas de Castellon (Spain - Cup Runner Up)
SL Olivais (Portugal - Cup Winner)
Furpile Prato (Italy - Cup Winner)
Orkan Valten Krizevci (Croatia - Cup Winner)
FCK De Hommel (Netherlands - Cup Runner Up)
T-Interim Borgerhout (Belgium - Cup Runner Up)
VIZ Sinara Ekaterinburg (Russia - Cup Runner Up)


In case of absence of renunciation of one of these club, will be selected one between the Czech, Ukrainian or Polish representatives.


Competition Formula

2 groups of 3 teams each

2 matches played every day (thursday, friday and saturday)

One day rest for each team of both groups

Sunday: Final between groups Winners

Also the finals for the 3rd/4th and 5th/6th places could be played, but is not confirmed yet.
