According to Futsal Portugal, the Portuguese futsal league could become professional in the next future.

The Portuguese Football Federation president Gilberto Madaíl gave his approval to the project of a Professional Futsal League created inside the Portuguese Football Federation structure, as the Portuguese futsal club were asking since many years.

Madaíl spoked with Vítor Peralta, giving a confirmation about his approval to this chance, since the meeting of Rio Maior.
