Important informations on the European Futsal Championship to take place in Ostrava (Czech Republic) on February 14th to 20th.

The official date for the draw has been decided: 22/9/2004. The draw will take place in the Town Hall in Ostrava, at 14.00

As we announced in a previous news Italy and Czech Republic will be seeded teams of the two groups.

The European Futsal Championship "dome" will be the wonderful Cez Arena in Ostrava: the pitch surface is still not decided but is already known that the one used for the friendly matches between Czech Republic and Poland on September 22nd, (Sareza Ice Arena, Ostrava at 19:00, match between the Under 21 teams scheduled for 17:00) will be the same of the Euro 2005 Championship.

The Cez Arena is a 9.000 seats hall in which will be played all the Euro 2005 matches, with the exception of the last groups matches, to be played in the same hour (in this case will be used the Sareza Ice Arena). Besides, Cez Arena is already in perfect conditions, due to the renovation work done for the Ice Hockey World Championship in May 2004.
