Dvo. Peñoles is the new title holder of the Mexican Liga Metropolitana, at the end of the Apertura tournament. The new Mexican champion defeated in a clear way the opponent IPN in a double final, while the third place (only one match) went to UNAM.
Now all the attention will be paid to the next league, the Clausura Tournament, that should start on September 22nd and will end on December 15th. In the Clausura tournament of the Liga Metropolitana should play 10 teams.
