Women Futsal: Estrela de Guarulhos makes its debut in the "Estadual" championship

Guarulhos, SP, 24/08/04 - Estrela de Guarulhos makes its debut in the state league, in the category sub-20, presenting its reinforcement with some talented players discovered in Guarulhos, showing the potential of the "guarulhense" feminine futsal. The team sub-20 plays in next day 28/04/2004 at 17 in the city of Natividade da Serra against the team Escalda/Natividade da Serra, that in the last year carried through an excellent campaign in the "Estadual 2003". The team suffered many changes, keeping the philosophy to develop the feminine futsal in the city was created the Category sub-17 and strengthened sub-20, therefore besides counting on the work of the Profº Rogério Marques, the Prof. Bel arrived to strengthen the commission. In this beginning of the semester the team will play the Estadual/2004 with the category sub-20 and the category sub-17. Therefore the biggest objective was to prepare the team to dispute the Estadual. I also want to congratulate our women soccer team that in Athens is playing for the gold medal, congratulations to the coach: Profº René Simões. We hope to have again the support of our wonderful "torcida" that has always supported us, and to pay them with victories. We thank the City of Guarulhos, Secretariat of Sports, São Paulo Federation of Futsal and Liga Guarulhense of futsal for the support in the development of the feminine futsal of our city.

FUTSAL FEMININO: ESTRELA DE GUARULHOS ESTRÉIA NO CAMPEONATO ESTADUAL

Guarulhos, SP, 24/08/04 - O Estrela de Guarulhos estréia no campeonato estadual na categoria sub-20, apresentando seus reforço com vários talentos descoberto em Guarulhos, mostrando o potencial do futsal feminino guarulhense. A equipe sub-20 joga no próximo dia 28/04/2004 às 17 horas na cidade de Natividade da Serra contra a equipe A Escalda/Natividade da Serra no ano passado a equipe do sub-20 realizou uma excelente campanha no Estadual de 2003.

A equipe sofreu muitas mudanças, mantendo a filosofia de desenvolver o futsal feminino na cidade foi criada a Categoria sub-17 e reforçou a sub-20, pois além de contar com o trabalho do Profº Rogério Marques, chegou para reforçar ainda mais a comissão o Profº Bel.

Neste inicio de segundo semestre a equipe irá disputar o Estadual/2004 com a categoria sub-20 e a categoria sub-17 sem data ainda para estrear.

Pois o objetivo maior foi preparar a equipe para disputar o Estadual deste ano.

Venho também dar os parabéns para o nosso futebol feminino que esta em Atenas-Grécia na Olimpíadas onde nossa meninas estão na disputa pelo ouro, isto só nos fortalece mais para trabalhar com as mulheres e parabéns ao Técnico: Profº René Simões.
