Iran need a draw against Brazil to win the Tehran 4-side tournament, after beating the vice-champion of Europe by 4 goals. Ukraine played very well but the Iranian hero, Vahid Shamsaee, who is Iran's captain replacing Heidarian, scored 2 fantastic goals in the first half. Artem Kovalev answered to one of these two goals just 4 minutes after beginning the 2nd half, but referee's decision to take a penalty cause of touching Masoumi's shot by Ukrainian defender's hand let Kazem Mohamamdi scoring the 3rd goal by penalty. One minute later Alexey Popov touched the ball with his hands out of area when he was face to face with Shamsaee. Therefore he had to left the field after getting the 2nd yellow card and sending off. And when the away team were playing with 4 players, it was Amir Hanifi who scores the 4th very easily. Finally the only non-Shakhtar player of Ukraine national team, Artem Kovalev scored his second goal in last minute by Mansourov's assist, but it wasn't enough to avoid Ukraine's defeat against the kings of Asia.
But the second match was not a balanced one. Brazilians started the match with their main players and scored 4 goals in first 6 minutes of the match. Rafael, who was the Brasilian superstar in this match who left the field after his hat trick and in his came back shot the ball strongly to the cross bar in the last seconds of the first half. In more than 70% of this match, Ferretti let his substitute players to be present on the pitch and play a balanced match against Iranian youngsters. Iran U21 team that even don't use their top 3 players Lotfi, Taheri and Fakhim (because they are the member of Iran A team too) played well in second half. Without any doubt, Hosein Soltani has been the best player of Iran U21 in last two matches. A short player with strong shots who scores the 1st goal of his team against Brazil. Also Rouzbahani team's captain Majid Tikdari showed very well in this match. He also scored the 2nd goal of the team from 2nd point penalty. the new goalkeeper of U21 team who was not present in yesterday match, Mostafa Nazari played a great party too and saved many chances from Brazilian strikers, although 2 goals that he recieved in the first and last minutes of second half caused the 6-2 result for final. Now, Brazilian that their superstars like Falcao, Indio, Rafael & Neto had a good rest today are looking for tomorrow and their important match against Iran, where the Asian Kings want to beat Brazil for the first time in the history. We should stay and see what happens.
