Yesterday (10/9) has been played the inaugural match of the
UEFA Futsal Cup 2004/2005. We're talking about the first match of the preliminay group in course in Sheffield. Final victory went to
Tirana: the Albanian team played an impressive first half (closed on the 0-4 score) but risked to waste all the advantage in the second half. The English 2003 Champions of
Sheffield Hallam had a superb reaction, reaching the draw, but in the last minutes of the match
Tirana managed to take the expected three points. Nothing is lost for Sheffield Hallam: two teams on a total of three (the other one is the Bulgarian champion
Mag Varna) will qualify for the first stage.
