Paulo "Maravilla" Roberto and Javi Sanchez were awarded by His Majesty Juan Carlos, King of Spain, with a silver medal of Sport Merit. The ceremony was held in the Palacio Real De El Pardo, in occasion of the National Sport Prizes. Just a great review for both players. Paulo Roberto, (Brazilian born but Spanish naturalized) current player of El Pozo Murcia Turistica is living his sixteenth season in Spain, after his beginning with Pennzoil Marsanz.

Javi Sanchez, current manager of Playas De Castellon was one of the best ever Spanish (and World) futsal players, having an impressive career with Extremadura, Pinturas Lepanto Zaragoza and especially with Playas de Castellon. Javi Sanchez was, besides, the first ever Spanish player reaching 100 caps with the National team (28/4/2003: Spain - Iran).
