10/02/2004- Norfolk, Massachusetts: Alexander Para, President of the United State Futsal Federation, the national governing authority that oversees all Futsal league development, policies and competitions in the United States under the auspices of the United States Youth Soccer Association and FIFA announced today that the Norfolk County Futsal League will host the 2005 USFF Massachusetts State Cup Tournament that is scheduled to take place on January 22nd and 23rd at the Forekicks Indoor Athletic Complex in Norfolk, Massachusetts.
The Massachusetts State Cup serves as the USFF's qualifier for the 2005 Regional Championship to be held in Pittsburgh in February 2005 as well as the National Championship held in California in July 2005

Bill Sampaio, Director of the Norfolk County Futsal League is overjoyed at the opportunity to host this exciting event and we are confident that the Norfolk County Futsal League as an affiliate partner of the Forekicks Megaplex we shall put on a first class premier futsal championship for futsal players from every corner of the state of Massachusetts.

Bill Sampaio is also the National Director of Coaches for the United States Futsal Federation, a position he was appointed to this past August in Oakland, California by a unanimous vote of its Board of Directors. Coach Sampaio says, "I have been involved in the sport of Futsal all of my life. The establishment of our league here at the Forekicks facility puts an entirely new face on the sport of Futsal in the state of Massachusetts. Having the opportunity to work first hand, directly with the coaches in our league provides us with a rare and outstanding opportunity for our young players to develop their soccer skills to their maximum potential". "I am anxious to be able to assist our league's coaches at all levels to ensure that our players receive the best there is by way of training and skills development. Futsal offers the best that there is in training for young soccer players and to have the National Director of Coaching as the Norfolk County Futsal League Director is just a phenominal opportunity for these children.

"Beyond our own league their are three new USFF Futsal Leagues that have formed within the past year alone in the State of Massachusetts so we are excited about being able to host the most exciting and well attended United States Futsal Federation sanctioned Massachusetts State Cup to date", adds Coach Bill.
