56 teams to take part in Futsal League

Fifty-six teams will be taking part in the Futsal League 2004/2005. There is therefore an increase of 14 teams from last year.

Fourteen teams will be taking part in the First Division with seven teams playing in Section A and another seven in Section B. The top two teams in each section will be playing in the semi-finals of the Championship Deciders. The last team in each section will be relegated.

Another fourteen teams will be playing in the Second Division, also divided in sections A and B. The section winners are promoted to the First Division while the teams placing last in the two sections are relegated.

Finally twenty-eight teams will be playing in the Third Division. There will be four sections with the winners of each section winning promotion.

Futsal League matches will be played at the Corradino Pavilion and the 5-a-side pitches in Zabbar, Gudja and Zebbug.
