USA FUTSAL TEAM HOLDS TRAINING CAMP BEFORE LEAVING FOR 2004 FIFA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

The USA Futsal team technical director Keith Tozer selected a 13-player roster for the team’s final training camp prior to departing for the FIFA Futsal World Championship 2004 in Chinese Taipei from 21 November – 5 December.

The three-day camp begins on 24 October in Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA and will include four training sessions including a pair of scrimmages vs. the Milwaukee Wave of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL).

The USA departs for Chinese Taipei on 14 November and their first game will be played on 21 November. The stars & stripes, which qualified by winning the 2004 CONCACAF Futsal Championship in July in Costa Rica, was drawn into Group C with Italy, Japan and Paraguay. The USA opens play in Tao Yuan County on 21 November vs. Italy, and will play their second match vs. Paraguay there as well two days later. The stars & stripes close group play vs. Japan on 25 November in Taipei City, the nation’s capital.
