Andrei Korenev, former coach of Geolog Novy Urengoy resigned after the third round of Russian Superleague, having gained a point in the last 15 matches (6 in season 2004/2005 and 9 in the final part of season 2003/2004 when the team was called Itera Novy Urengoy. New coach is Andrei Kozirev, who has never coached in the Superleague before.
