Iran’s futsal team in an ideal form

The head coach of Iran’s futsal team, Mohammad Hassan Ansarifard assessed the team’s 8-day training camp in Kish Island, southern Iran as very fruitful saying: “The team is in an ideal form.”

According to Ansarifard the next training camp of Iran’s futsal team will be in either the UAE or Kuwait, because of the similarity between the climatic situation of the two countries with that of Taiwan where the 2004 World Cup contests are to be held.

On the friendly with Taiwan on November 17th, the Iranian official noted: “Taiwan’s Football Federation has said that the national team is not ready for the game and thus we will arrange a friendly with a local team to better cope with the climatic conditions in the World Cup contests.”
