News from Russia

Russian Superleague
Unbelievable but true. After only four round of the Russian Superleague (it means 8 matches for each team) the fourth coach was dismissed. We're talking about the Viz Sinara's coach Fail Mirgalimov. The Russian club president Grigory Ivanov took this decision at the end of the "heavy" defeat in the Cup match against Dinamo Moscow, in which Viz Sinara was defeated 3-7 in an home match. Another reason for this decision was the Mirgalov's statement: after that match and in many other occasions the Russian coach asked for Brazilian players, the only way, according to him, to win the title. Ivanov didn't accept this statement, and confirmed that Viz Sinara will keep on count on the local talent. In the past season Viz Sinara had some foreign players like the Brazilian pivot Tadeu (now in Italy with Luparense) and the Ukrainian defender Kudlay (now with Dinamo Moscow).

A curious news coming from Iran, even if in the article we report below is not clear which is the Russian club involved (probably Spartak Shelkovo, considering that Vahid Shamsaee played with Iran the international tournament organized by the Shelkovo's club).

While Iranian star, Vahid Shamsaee has left Italy’s futsal team of Lazio two seasons ago, the Italian club has not yet fully paid Iran’s Esteghlal team and thus the Iranian side is to take the issue to FIFA.

- Russian futsal team of Spartak is to pay 200 million tomans ($229,000) to Iranian international Vahid Shamsaee for a one year contract.
