ZVV Mengao, 6 times champions, won the Suriname league finals against the 3 times champions Pittbull. The final result was a 9-5 score in favour of Zvv Mengao, also thanks the top scorer of this match: the brazilian player Paifa, who scored four goals.
He was also awarded as Suriname futsal player of the year 2003-2004 and won the topscorers list with a total of 97 goals in the season. Paifa, in addition, became the first brazilian player in the Suriname futsal history on this level.
