During the Christmas week-end was played the last round (9th) of the Russian Superleague. This round was characterized by some transferts before the matches. Two players of Dina Moscow left the club. Anton Iskusnikh and Andrei Kochetuigov signed for Spartak, Moscow national champion 2001 which is living an hard season until now, still beeing in the last place of the table. Both players, ironically, played their first match with Spartak just in Chekhov (40 km from Moscow) against their former club Dina Moscow.
CSKA's player Denis Kalinin was given on loan to Geolog Novy Urengoy, until July 1st, 2005.

Talking about the league, the 9th round was definitely focused on the great double battle between the current leader Dinamo Moscow and the runner up Viz Sinara Ekaterinburg. The results were in favour of Viz Sinara which conquered a draw and a victory (in the first match they wasted a 3 goals advantage) and is now closer to the Yuri Rudnev's team.
Spartak Shelkovo kept their third place thanks to the impressive performance of the brazilian Kaka, russian league top scorer with 28 goals in 16 matches played, who scored 6 times in the two winning matches in Tyumen.
Four points gained also by Dina Moscow (against the always desperate Spartak Moscow which must absolutely win both matches vs Geolog on next round), Norilsky Nickel in Moscow, against CSKA (see our special news on these matches!), especially thanks to their foreign players (Simeunovic, Afranio and Passarinho in the first match, Zorc instead of Afranio in the second one, just three foreign players for match are allowed in Russia) and TTG Java over Arbat Moscow.
