Gougoulitsas becomes National Team Coach

38 year old Grigoris Gougoulitsas is the new head coach of the Hellenic National Team. He was announced on January 28th by the Hellenic Federation and will immediately begin his new work. Gougoulitsas a long time veteran becomes the 4th coach to claim the National team head coach spot. In turn this marks the end of his playing status as he is set to leave Ethnikos Asteras where he served
this year as a player-coach. Gougoulitsas has some experience at coaching the National Team, as he was Sergey Stulov's assistant coach for two years in the national team. He has also been a member of the National Team in the past with 28 caps and 2 goals. In the Greek league Gougoulitsas is well respected for having deep knowledge of the game and is considered one of the best players in the history of Greek futsal. He has scored 42 goals as a player of Athina 90 and Ethnikos Asteras.
