1st Division : Game Day 6

Athina 90 breaks Platon's series, Dias is left alone at top

The 6th day of the Greek Championship was one of great competition. Athina 90 was the one to finally break the 5-game series of Platon with a 4-2 win at home. The game was captivating up until the end with the two teams performing at their best in an effort to win a crucial game. Athina 90 was more poised and took advantage of their opportunities to seal the victory. Mihalis scored 2 goals for the winning side which gets them back on track in the race for a top spot in the regular season.

Dias took advantage of Platon's defeat, with a tough win at home against Minotavros 7-6. They stand at the top of the league now and remain the only unbeaten team this year. Kosmos won yet another important game against Iniohos 4-3 and is moving away from relegation spots with a three game winning streak. Iniohos is now desperate to start winning games as they seem to have lost track and are facing relegation. Doukas bounced back from their two straight losses, and got a secure win against Aeas 3-9. Ethnikos Asteras cruised by Gerakas with a convincing away win 4-10.
