The Spanish coach of the Italian first division club Prato c/5, Jesus Velasco sent a letter to the Spanish futsal portal Futsalero to report what happened after the end of Spain vs Italy match (group B). Immediately after the match the web site Futsalero condemned the Nuccorini's behaviour against Spain in the following article: click here, while today, together with the Velasco's letter has reported the "ironical revenge" of Cancho, the assistant coach of Lozano, who provided Nuccorini with two tickets to attend the final match: click here

EUROPEO 2005 Jesús Velasco y la farsa de Nuccorini: “Tutti in piedi, a prenderli per il culo”

El entrenador Jesús Velasco desenmascara en una carta remitida a FUTSALERO.COM a Alessandro Nuccorini. El técnico español lleva siete años entrenando en Italia y durante los últimos cinco al Prato Calcio a 5 con el que ha logrado el título de Liga y Copa. Apodado ‘Il Profesore Spagnolo’ por su aportación al desarrollo del fútbol sala italiano, Velasco no ha podido ocultar su indignación ante el comportamiento del seleccionador transalpino y lo plasma en un sabroso artículo futsalero titulado: “"Tutti in piedi, a prenderli per il culo".

En primer lugar quiero saludar a todo el mundo del fútbol sala español y dar mi enhorabuena a nuestra selección no sólo por haber llegado a una final más, sino también por demostrar respeto y buenas maneras. El motivo de su carta es aclarar un detalle que creo ha escapado a la mayoría de los españoles que asistieron al triste espectáculo visto el 17 de febrero jueves al final del partido Italia-España.

Yo no pude verlo en directo, ya que mi equipo jugaba un partido amistoso fuera, y hasta la tarde del viernes no tuve ocasión de ver el vídeo. Llegados a la parte final del partido Alessandro Nucorini hace bien en protestar cuando el crono cambia y de 11 segundos pasa a 50, hasta ahí todo va bien, pues la razón le permite montar el espectáculo que quiera, y después declarar que pide el tiempo muerto para protestar ante los cronometristas de la UEFA.

Pero sus verdaderas intenciones se entienden cuando está llamando a sus sorprendidos jugadores a falta de tres segundos para que vengan donde él está; en ese momento la cámara de Eurosport le encuadra, y también se puede escuchar su voz . Cuando ya tiene cerca a casi todos les dice: "Tutti in piedi, a prenderli per il culo". Escuchar esta frase de su boca nos indignó a mi mujer y a mí, porque quiere decir: "Todos en pie, a cogerles por el culo" traducido literalmente; frase que en italiano quiere decir: "Todos en pie, a reírnos de ellos", pero de una manera de lo más vulgar.

Todo esto me causó una honda tristeza, sobre todo porque estas palabras vienen del máximo representante de Italia sobre la cancha. Sus propios jugadores le miraron estupefactos, y la mayoría se alejó sin hacerle caso. No sabía si aclarar este suceso, pues era posible llegar a una final contra Italia, y si esto se sabía antes de esa hipotética final quizás los ánimos estuvieran muy encendidos, pero ahora que Italia ha quedado fuera me veo con el deber de explicar lo que quizás todos sospechábamos y que las cámaras nos han aclarado.

No quiero comentar nada más, creo que los hechos ponen a cada uno en su sitio, tan sólo añadir que me enorgullece ver que el fútbol sala español además de ganar sabe respetar al contrario y sabe también perder. Un saludo y suerte para todos el domingo.

EUROPEO 2005 Jesús Velasco and the Nuccorini's farce: “Tutti in piedi, a prenderli per il culo”

The Spanish coach Jesús Velasco unmasked, in a letter sent to Futsalero, Alessandro Nuccorini. The Spanish coach is working in Italy since seven years ,five of them with Prato c/5, where he won a lot of titles. Nicknamed as ‘Il Professore Spagnolo’ due to his support to the Italian futsal, Velasco could not hide his indignation for the behaviour of the Italian national team coach.



"First of all I wish to congratulate the whole Spanish futsal and our national team having reached another final and showed respect and good behaviour in the pitch. The reason why I'm writing this letter is to point out a detail that I suppose was not noticed by the greatest part of Spanish futsal fans who attended the sad spectacle seen on February 17th during the match between Italy and Spain.

I could not watch the match live as I had a friendly match with my club, and could not watch the match before friday night.

Arrived to the end of the match Alessandro Nucorini was right in complaining when the remaining time to play pass to 50 seconds from 11. Until this point, all was good, therefore he could do his desired show and declaring to have asked for a time out just to complain against the UEFA time-keeper.

But only later we can get his real intentions, as he call his surprised players when only three second are missing before the end. In this momento the Eurosport camera is taking the scene and everybody can hear the following: "Tutti in piedi, a prenderli per il culo". Hearing this sentence made my wife and me full of indignation becouse it means "All standing up, kidding them", said in a more vulgar way and referred to the Spanish team.

This fact caused to me a deep sadness, considering that these words come from the main representative of Italian futsal on the bench.
His own players seemed to be amazed for his behaviour and supported him without understanding.
I was not sure to make this public, considering the chance fo a final between Italy and Spain, and knowing that before the final would have "inflamed the match" more and more, but now that Italy is out of the competition I must explain what maybe all of us were suspecting but the tv cameras didn't explain in a complete way.

I don't want to comment more, I think that what's happened confer to everyone his role. I just want to add that I'm proud to see the Spanish futsal beeing able to win and also to respect their opponents.
