Greek Futsal HistoryIn a day free of surprises, all the favourites won their games easily and moved on in the race for better ranking in the league. The leader Dias defeated Aeas 10-6 at home and improved their unbeaten record to 8 games.
Paraskevas scored a vital hat-trick to give the winners the edge. Dias now faces Gerakas in the last game of round 1.
Platon took an easy win against Minotavros 11-5 who was not able to pose any threats in the game. Dimitri Nicolaou who was just back from the Czech Republic where he attended the Euro Championships, saw his team perform well and was able to use all players in the squad. Kouvaras scored four for Platon.
Doukas cruised by Kosmos with an away win 2-7 and looks to be attempting a come-back after a slow start. Vandoros had three for the winning side.
Athina '90 demolished Gerakas away from home 0-11 and shattered their hopes for a good result. Athina '90 trails Platon from third place and will look to continue at a steady pace in order to capitalize on any losses of points from the leaders. Mihalis, the leading scorer in the league had four goals.
Finally in the toughest match of the day Ethnikos Asteras took an important win at Iniohos 2-6 and maintained their position in the top four. Kardasis and Priftis each scored three goals for Asteras.
