Greek Premiere League: all details here-
Greek Futsal HistoryThe level in the league keeps increasing rapidly as teams are performing in style. The game of the day was at Kesariani, where Ethnikos Asteras faced Athina '90. The game was exciting up until the end and concluded in dramatic fashion as Athina '90 equalized 5" before the end. The capacity crowd witnessed a game full of exciting battles, great goals, and a tempo that kept increasing as the game went on. Gritzalis was the man of the match with 5 goals for the home team and Michalis lead the way for the guests with 3 goals. The league leader and still only unbeaten team, Dias came away with an away win at Kosmos 6-9. Takis Morfesis was instrumental with 5 goals for the winners. Dias now faces a tough schedule with back to back derbies. The next few games will determine for most part the final position of the team. Platon went on with an easy win against Aeas and kept close on the race for first position. Team captain Lefteris Kouvaras scored another 4 goals and lead the way in scoring for the home side. Aeas now is focusing on the next game against Iniohos in a battle to avoid relegation. Doukas overcame Iniohos 5-2, and ended a tradition of draws between the two teams. Iniohos is surprisingly last in the league and seems too disappointed to come back. Economou scored three for the winners, who now face Athina '90 in the next game, the classic derby of the league. Finally Minotavros stepped further away from the danger spot with a convincing 11-6 win at home against Gerakas. Laios scored 4 goals for the home team.
