Vahid Shamsaee signs Puma contract

Iranian national pivot Vahid Shamsaee signed a contract with Puma which will see him outfitted in casual and futsal gears for the next year. Shamsaee, currently playing for Eram Kish Qom got the deal after some impressive performances for the national team. Although he was not a good member for the Persian team in Chinese Taipei, but as a valuable player nobody deny his skills. So it could be enough for Puma to sign a contract with whom is playing for an unknown Iranian club now, but very famous and popular in the country.

Surprisingly an accident made the connection between Vahid & Modern Sports (official representative of Puma in Iran). "I was showing my technical skills for a German magazine. It was in Jordan Street of Tehran, when they closed a part of street and I began to play with the ball. By accident, that part of the street was where that the central shop of Modern Sports is located there. Mr. Khalilpour came to me, asked for my contact, and later we met each other and everything went on well."

Mr. Khalilpour, an experienced in Tennis, who has one of the most famous Sports shops in Tehran now, say that there were two special reasons that caused his company choose Shamsaee as the first Iranian sportsman who is sponsored by Puma: His behavior, and his technical abilities. He didn't explained about the amount of this contract, but it is said that Shamsaee will approximately earn 20,000 Euros (products & cash) for 1 year.

"I'm so happy because I'm the first player who plays in Iran & sign a contract with a very well-known company like Puma. It's my second time, when I was in Italy I had a contract with Diadora. But this one is different because I've signed it as an Iranian league player. I hope that other non-governmental companies & investors come to our futsal in near future." said Shamsaee in his sponsor presenting that was held by Modern Sports, Sunday morning. The location of the presenting was Eskan Trade Center, where the first Puma Shop of Tehran city opened there 2 months ago.

The interest of Puma - which is the main sponsor of LNFS - in the Iranian futsal pivot, could be a very important chance for the country.
