USA: Catholic Youth Futsal and Fall River Futsal League

US Futsal
Inter-league games played in the Catholic Youth Futsal and Fall River Futsal League for Saturady March 12th are summarized as follows:

The Green Machine coached by Cindy Phillips loss to Dean Carlson's Fall River Fire by a score of 2-5. Mikayla Dreyer scored both goals for the Green Machine while brother Kurtis Dreyer played outstanding as the Green Machine's goalie. The Fall River Fire played very well as a team. Zachary Carlson rocketed two balls into the net while teammates Keith Costa, Ra[phael Camara & Andrew Lopes each scored 1 goal.

The St.Michael's Stingrays took on Notre Dame winning 2-0. Superstars Kenny Paiva, Noah Cordeiro and Patrick Cunha played outstanding at both ends of the court. Goals for the Stingrays were scored by Tori Borges and Britini Alexander. Although scoreless, Notre Dame had some great shots on goal. This was a very defensive game with excellent goaltending by both teams.

Notre Dame B/GU10's came up short against St. Stansilaus loosing 2-7 but not before Daniel Correia and Kyle Barbosa put 2 shots away in their opponents net. St. Stanislaus scoring was highlighted by Adam Flaherty, Trevor McGrady & Sean Cunningham who each enjoyed a great game but not without the outstanding defensive support provided by Nick Amaral & Keegan Larue.

The Sanwich Jets BU14 team came out on top against the infamous Holy Name U14 Girls who playe each and every game tirelessly. This well played game was a very tight contest with Sandwich winning by a margin of 3-2. Players for Sandwich improved as the game progressed with better ball movement and passing as the game wore on. Sandwich goals were scored by Greg Howell, Sam Ellis & John Simkins. Jim Carey's U14 girls team from Holy Name provided a very evenly matched contest with goals scored by Kate McDonald & Sara Carey. Jordan Prescott played outstanding in goal while Katie Darmody displayed great passing skills.
