Great day for Futsalplanet.com. On saturday 9th in Puertollano six of the eight Futsalplanet Awards 2004 winners were awarded in the great hall Municipal de Malagón, after the entertaining match between Carlos Barbosa and Malwee/Jaraguà.

The Futsalplanet Awards ceremony was done through different personalities from the Spanish futsal and the Puertollano's city administration. In the same day in Lugo, Fernandinho was awarded as best young player (Under 21) of the World, before the Division de Honor match between Azkar Lugo and Caja Segovia, receiving the prize from the Sports counsellor of Lugo, José Manuel Díaz Grandío and the Azkar's president José Luis Iglesias.

Luis Amado, best goalkeeper of the world , received the prize from Paula Fernández, provincial deputy of the Ciudad Real.

Jesus Candelas, voted as best club coach of the world, was awarded by Santiago Romero, Community Council delegate of Castilla La Mancha.

The LNFS president Santiago Marquez gave the prize for the best club of the world to José María García, founder of Boomerang Interviu (at that time called Hora XXV), 25 years ago.

The best referee of the world Pedro Galán Nieto had the Futsalplanet Award from Alfonso Ballesteros, Vice-president of the Castilla La Mancha's soccer federation.

Javier Lozano, best national team coach of the World received the prize from Luis Pizarro, sports counsellor of Puertollano.

Last but not least, the World and European Champions of Spain, represented by the great former captain Julio received from Joaquín Hermoso, Puertollano's major, the Futsalplanet Awards as best national team of the world.
