Futsal referee course ends

Bandar Seri Begawan - The three-day basic course for Futsal referees for some 60 primary school teachers in the Brunei-Muara District came to a close on Saturday at the Multi-Purpose Hall at the Hassanal Bolkiah Sports Complex in Berakas.

The course was jointly organised by the Co-Curriculum Department of the Ministry of Education and the Youth and Sports Department of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Present as the chief guest during the closing ceremony was Hj Abang Rashidi bin Hj Abang Suhaili, Head of Physical Unit of the Co-Curriculum Department who also presented the participants with certificates.

The course was led by Awang Hj Mohd Yunos bin Hj Mohd Yusof as the chief facilitator and officials from Youth and Sports Department - Awang Md Zin bin Hj Jamahat, Awang Hj Kamran bin Hj Akop - and Awang Hj Hamidon bin Hj Md Zin from Brunei Darussalam Referees Association.

A similar course for secondary school teachers will also be held soon.
