And the dream came true. The first ever title of the young and brilliant history of Nepi is arrived! The first division rookie won this monday in Conversano the Italian Cup 2004/2005 at the end of an entertaining final match against the Italian champions of Arzignano Grifo. Though Nepi is usually considered as a defensive team, due to his coach Fulvio Colini way of playing, this time Nepi showed an impressive performance in every part of the pitch, definitely deserving the final victory, while on the other side of the court the Argentinian National team player Leandro Planas played an impressive match against Vander Carioca, leaving him few chances to score. Arzignano missed Adriano Foglia after few minutes of the first half and could just count on the legendary Sandrinho and Marcio (they conquered the last World Championship of Brazil in Spain 1996...) to reach at least the penalty series. We have to remind that Nepi was founded just few seasons ago and reached the first division by winning three leagues in a row (C1 division, Lazio region, in 2001/2002, B division in 2002/2003, A2 division in 2003/2004) thanks to an impressive signings campaign during the last seasons.
