The Soccer New South Wales Futsal Federation has renamed its State League to the Premier Futsal League, which is the Futsal equivilant to the highest grade of Football played in New South Wales, a State of Australia. Its first season will consist of 16 Clubs ranging from 12 years of age to All age and will include male and female competitors, with High Ranked Football Clubs will be asked to Supply teams for the competition, which will be another step to show those Footballers our beautiful Game, and also be another step towards the unification and growth of Futsal throughout NSW (New South Wales) and Australia.

The Competition will be cut down to 8 Teams and 2 divisions on a Delegation, Relegation system, although the Lower grade has yet to be named, but will prove challenges to the Football clubs in the competition with the Change of Rules and method of play. This is great way to widen Futsal in NSW and Australia and should prove a great success for the Game of Futsal and Financially for the stakeholders involved.
