Two interesting news came from Spain (or better, from Japan) during the last weeks.
After the first attempt in Belgium (some weeks spent with the first division club
Forcom Antwerpen (
click here to read our news, Japanese National team and Fire Fox star
Kenichiro Kogure will try again to play in Europe. Kogure is spending some weeks in Valencia, training with the Division de Plata's team
Valencia Vijusa and their coach
Miki.
According to Federico
Vidal (usually known as
Fede, great former player of Valencia and Lobelle de Santiago recently), sports director of Valencia Vijusa, Kogure is a great flank-pivot and, due to his tactical intelligence, could be the best Japanese player for an European experience. Valencia Vijusa missed the play off goal this season, and will try to come back in Division de Honor in the next league: Kogure could be one of the first signings to reach this aim.
In the meanwhile another Japanese made his debut in Spain: Takuya
Suzumura (now called as "Taku") obtained a place in the starting five of
Bargas Siglo XXI, club of Division de Plata, group C.
"Taku", 26 years old defender who played with Japan in Chinese Taipei, coming from the Kansai league champion club
Mag's definitely had an impressive debut in Europe, opening new "market doors" for more Asian players to come, as did also some others like
Shamsaee and
Heidarian (Iranian players in Italy), Kiyoshi
Sagane (played with IFC Ciampino, Italian first division, season 2001/2002) or Masaki
Iwamoto, who played with Nazareno Dos Hermanas (Spain), as reported by
