The star on lineMalaysians face Thais in futsal finalBANGKOK: Defending champions Thailand and Malaysia will play in the final of the third Asean Football Federation's (AFF) futsal championship at the Hua Mak Stadium here today.
The fancied Thais finished top of the six-team competition collecting the maximum 15 points. They won all five matches while Malaysia with 10 points finished ahead of third-placed Brunei on better goal difference.
The top two teams at the end of the round-robin tournament will play in the final for the title.
In the last round matches played yesterday, Thailand defeated Malaysia 3-0 while Brunei scored a narrow 3-1 win over Indonesia. The Philippines picked up their first win when they edged winless Vietnam 5-4.
