After winning the regular season with an impressive score, for Agenore Maurizi is time for play off. Some numbers can confirm the great first seasonal part of the club from Rome. Nineteen, like the won matches: Lottomatica is the most winning club. One hundred twenty four goals done: the best league attack. Also, just sixty-two suffered goals to have the best defence and, as a consequence, the best goal average in Italy.

AGENORE MAURIZI " WE CAN AIMING FOR THE TITLE ONLY BY PLAYING AT OUR BEST”

The Lottomatica’s coach draw up a seasonal balance sheet, focusing his attention on the play off series

- Regular season is over. Are you satisfied with your team performance in the league as well as in the Italian Cup Final eight? What should you improve after winning the first part of the championship having the best attack and defence of the league?

I’m not completely satisfied. We were not mentally prepared in the cup final eight. I’m satisfied with the league result, but still we have to improve in order to conquer the title.

- Do you believe that the play off series will follow the regular season trend? Or you think about another surprise like what happened with Nepi during the cup played in Conversano?

I wish to have the same results obtained in the regular season. Basically is what happened in the last seasons...

- Reggio Calabria or Lazio: any preference or is absolutely the same? Which one would you like to face more?

It’s quite hard to say. In the quarter finals stage every match can be difficult to play. I believe it will depend on ourselves. We have no fear at all, when playing at our best. Every opponent is the same, in that case.

- Speaking about International futsal: Spanish play off are started with an impressive victory of Mra over Playas in Pamplona. Who could win the title in your opinion? Who could be the other team reaching the final match?

I was quite surprised by the Playas defeat in Pamplona, especially about the final score of the match., but I think that they can manage to reache the semifinals on next week. I suppose that Playas, Boomerang and El Pozo will fight for two places in the final and for the title.

- Before the end of May will start the 7th edition of the AFC Championships. Which is your opinion on Asian Futsal? Are they able to compete with European teams, at least with their top countries like Iran, Japan and Thailand?

AFC is becoming more and more competitive. Japan is ready to reach the European quality, Iran and Thailand (though Thai futsal is working hard and well) are a little weaker in opinion.
