Unbelievable but true. After the disappointment experience of the past season, the history is going to be repeated in Greece. The local federation, as announced on a press release edited on June 1st, has decided to delete every final stage (play-off series) of Hellenic futsal competitions. Will this unexpected decision mean the end of futsal in Greece?

The Hellenic Football Federation issued the following statement (1/06/05):

"According to the decision made by the Board of Directors (on the 27/05/05) of the Federation, the Second Phase-Hellenic League Play Off of all Futsal Championships at all levels will not be played due to financial reasons."
